A Ride down Buttertub Passs

Lovely scenery and some steep hills (max of about 17%) characterise this ride from. the Hawes Caravan and Motorhome Site. I was intending to do down the other side and then back over the whole pass but the battery in the gear changer went flat and so I was stuck in first gear for the latter part of the of the climb and all the way back. Quite embarrasing riding in first gear on the flat!

I would definitely intend to do the full route at some point in the future and have ordered a spare battery!
