Trevose view farm campsite - a delightfully relaxed and beautiful place

As part of our summer holiday in Cornwall this year we stayed at Trevose View Farm campsite . I wasn’t too sure about this before we went as there was no electric hookup and no allocated pitches, however, the views were great and the location was very handy for Trevone, a place out grandkids love for surfing and playing in the rocks. There is also the natural tidal sea pool, which is a short walk from the site.

I have to say we were pleasantly surprised, the site was very spacious, across three fields, and as numbers are limited to 50 outfits, there was always plenty of space, so that you never felt hemmed in. The views were also spectacular, it the third field we were on the edge of an area used for growing wheat, and it was lovely to watch the golden wheat blowing in the sea breeze. Indeed the sea breeze itself was really welcome as we were in the middle of a heatwave but it never really got too hot.

The tidal pool was a short 10 minute walk away and was a great place to relax and cool down when the tide wasn't too far in.
